This was our client’s “Papa’s” pickup from Wheatland, WY. After inheriting it, our client kept it looking just like Papa’s pickup on the outside but transformed everything else.

About this Project
A customer’s vision came to life with this 1965 Chevy. This pickup was a complex build which blended the old with the new. A complete custom frame, Hotchikis Sports Suspension System, custom fuel cell, an LSA engine and 4L85E transmission swap was performed and figuring out how to make everything work together was a challenge. First the pickup was completely taken apart and the frame was reconditioned and then powder coated by Imperial Powder Coating in Sheridan, Wyoming. To properly fit the new wheels and tires, the wheel wells were tubbed to accommodate them.
This beautiful custom Chevy wouldn’t be complete without new wood flooring in the bed and all new custom interior. The original Chevy Blue with black accent was used to finish the look of original stock appearance from the outside with an up to date custom ride on the inside.
